Bovill Lead Ltd have been operating since 1998 and we have within the company both lead fitting and joinery roofing skills. Samuel Bovill established the company after serving a 5 year plumbing apprenticeship where he gained experience in lead roofing. The company has its workshop in the Ahoghill area and currently employ three lead fitters who hold CSR cards and CSCS Heritage Skills Lead Worker cards. We are members of The Lead Contractors Association and are regulated in the way we carry out our work with back up from the association. Through the LCA upon request we can provide a 25year guarantee on our work. We also have had the honor of receiving the prestigious Murdock Award in the ornamental category.

We specialise in all aspects of lead work on site from traditional lead work to modern. We also manufacture bespoke lead ornamental detail on domestic and heritage roofing projects. Using traditional sand casting methods that are long established in the industry we can work with clients to create unique items which will last for hundreds of years. All our work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with the Lead Sheet Associations code of Practice. Our main speciality is in Lead Roofing of all types and we are also keen to provide technical support at the design stage to ensure all preparation is to BS 6915 standards.
